There is no doubt now that the teacups are one of the subject's favorite designer lamps ... a bit out of my head! Certainly, the shape helps especially if the fancy takes a hand!
The beautiful lamp you are seeing in the images below is called Pouring Light is an idea to the designer for Kim Yeongwoo Yanko Design. The lamp has the shape of a cup of tea inverted with much of sachet and leaking liquid, liquid which has also been treated with a phosphorescent material to increase the optical effect of liquid spotlight when the lamp is on.
An original idea that will not surprise anyone who sees it ... and that could easily make a nice companion piece with another lamp shaped like a tea cup and the cup stools in which we presented a few months ago!
